The department replied that they had no immediate plans to replace these lights. My point is that these are dangerous fittings that could potentially kill pedestrians/householders if they collapse. Danny de Ville "Dear Sir, The majority of the street lights in the upper part of Nelson Road N8 are badly corroded, many have missing access panels and some are leaning over. Cleary these appliances are well past their usuable life span and need to be replaced before any accidents occur. I would be grateful if you could tell me when they will be replaced.
