I have reported this dumping to the Council - so I hope they take action this time.

As you've discovered it is very difficult to get people to take responsibility for things at Haringey. I suspect this will be another example: Probably the street cleaning department are refusing to take action because the rubbish is not on the pavement but on the Parkland Walk - which is the parks department's responsibility.

There is dumping behind the fence to the left of the lancaster road entrance to the parkland walk and to the left of the path as you go up. Council have been informed and have done nothing. Street cleaners walk past rubbish around the entrance on a regular basis - extremely frustrating. There must be someone in the council who is accountable to council tax payers for street cleanliness - who is it?

my family took a stroll down parkland walk this sunday. with two small children, 2 & 5 it wasn't pleasent. We met about 3 dog owners with dangerous dogs off the leash which rushed towards my 5 year old my wife picked him up and the I picked the 2 year up. Then we had the speeding cyclists meaning it was unsafe for both to run freely. so we returned home and my wife then stood in a plastic bag full of dog excrement from the above bin.

we will be emigrating to Spain soon!
