I live on Albany Road and am therefore just outside the Crouch End and Finsbury Park CPZs. Parking in the last 6 weeks has become increasingly difficult and the road is now largely full of cars that do not belong to the residents of Albany Road. Meanwhile, Stapleton Hall Road (which is at the lower end of Albany Road) is mostly empty. It is within the Finsbury Park CPZ and presumably residents there often choose not to pay and to park in the surrounding non CPZ roads for free. The parking situation has got much worse since the Crouch End CPZ came into force. The previous consultation took place when there were no nearby CPZs. Now there are two, and they are causing considerable difficulties for local residents. It would seem wholly reasonable to revisit the issue again in the light of changed circumstances. It seems unfair that Haringey would refuse to consult again despite the fact that it is their decision to impose CPZs in neighbouring streets that is now causing the problems.

I live on Ferme Park Road and it has always been near impossible to park here. In the last few weeks it's become a nightmare. Not only can I not park on my own road (between Mount View and Stapleton Hall Road) but if I come home after dark I spend up to 10 minutes driving around the surrounding roads trying to leave my car there and then have to walk in the dark back to my house a few roads away. This means I am doing the same as others are doing in my road, which is surely exasperating the situation for them too. It is very stressful and I am all in favour of extending the zone. Even if I do have to pay to park outside my house, at least it would then be possible. It's a constant headache and near on ridiculous that the council sees fit to leave just one main road free of the zone meaning all other people leave their cars here. Please can this be resolved sooner rather than later.

I live in the non CPZ section of Stapleton Hall Road and find that the parking situation is becoming increasingly difficult. It has become so bad that if I move my car on a weekday evening I often cannot park in the non CPZ section on my return and find myself searching for a spot before I go to work in the morning. There are often spaces in the non CPZ section of the road but I cannot leave my car there during the restricted period. I am very fed up with the situation and the stress it causes. I would strongly welcome an extension of the CPZ on the remainder of Stapleton Hall Road.

The CPZ pincer movement is so effective that parking is now impossible in my part of Mount View Road (Ferme Park Rd. to Granville Rd.) Five camper vans took up residence about 6 weeks ago and numerous unknown cars are now permanent features. So the council's fund raising policy is working wonderfully & I am now being forced to capitulate, ask for a CPZ to be implemented and pay to be able to park anywhere close to home. Frustratingly, where the CPZs are in operation only about 50% of the space is used. This is one very pissed off resident.
